Alissa Claiser

Alissa was born in Wisconsin and spent her early years in California before her family relocated to the East coast. She graduated from the University of Delaware in 2012 where she received her Bachelor's Degree in Athletic Training with a minor in strength and conditioning. While at Delaware she worked with Blue Hen Athletics in soccer, lacrosse, rowing and football. During her senior year she was a teaching assistant for two of the undergraduate athletic training courses. After graduation, Alissa continued her education at the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville, where she received her Master's of Science in Kinesiology. At Arkansas, she worked with swimming and diving, and men's club ice hockey. She assisted and is still involved in ground breaking concussion research. In her spare time, Alissa enjoys horseback riding, being active in the outdoors and spending time with friends and family, and when it's all combined that's even better! Alissa is looking forward to the opportunity of working with skilled medical professionals and expanding her knowledge at The Steadman Clinic.

Chase Rogowski

Chase is a Michigan native. She graduated from Michigan State University in 2012 with a bachelor's degree in athletic training. While at Michigan State she worked with Spartan football, cross country, track and field, and women's rowing. Chase also served on the e-board of the student ran athletic training club, "E-STIM: Educatin Students in Sports Medicine". She has worked as a first aid provider with Varsity Brands at various cheerleading and dance camps throughout the Midwest. In May of 2014 Chase graduated with her Master's degree in kinesiology from the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign, where she worked with women's swimming and diving, and cheerleading. When Chase isn't working you can find her cooking, running, biking weight lifting or snowboarding. Chase looks forward to marathon training at altitude and exploring Colorado while working with the knowledgeable staff at The Steadman Clinic.

Danielle Hansen

Danielle was born in the great state of Texas, but being the daughter of Marine parents she lived throughout the world, graduating high school in Mililani, Hawaii. Danielle returned to Texas to earn her Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training from The University of Texas at Arlington. During the past two years Danielle has worked with the wheelchair basketball program at UT-Arlington and served as a Graduate Teaching Assistant in the Kinesiology Department. She recently finished her Masters of Science in Exercise Science from the University of Texas at Arlington. In Oct. 2013 Danielle got to travel to Buenos Aires, Argentina with the U-21 Women's National Wheelchair Basketball team for the Youth Para Pan American Games. During her free time, Danielle loves to cook and do anything that involves being outdoors. Danielle is excited for the opportunity, not only learn from the Steadman Clinic physicians and staff, but also to enjoy all of the great outdoor activities Colorado has to offer!

Jenna Cataldi

Originally from Louisa, Virginia, Jenna received her Bachelors of Science in Athletic Training from James Madison University in 2011. Following graduation she attended the University of Virginia where she received a Masters of Education in Kinesiology with an emphasis in Sports Medicine and Athletic Training in 2012. There she served as the primary Athletic Trainer for women's tennis. In addition to graduate coursework, she became well versed in cryotherapy research, which she pursued as the focus of her thesis, expanding on treatment parameters specific to sensory affects. Following her time at the University of Virginia, she has worked as the Head Athletic Trainer for a Richmond City Public school in Virginia from 2012-2014, under contract with Bon Secours Health Systems. In addition to her duties with the high school, Jenna volunteered her time in educational outreach to the community, participating in health fairs and delivering presentations on various sports medicine related topics. In her spare time she enjoys providing athletic training services to various local foundations, being outdoors and spending time with friends and family. She is grateful for the opportunity to advance her clinical skills and knowledge during her time with the Steadman Clinic.

Kevin Keene

Born in New York, raised in southeastern Pennsylvania, Kevin graduated with his Bachelor of Science Degree in Athletic Training from West Chester University of Pennsylvania in 2012. Kevin then chose to continue his education at West Chester University of PA and attain a Master of Science in Exercise and Sport Physiology with a concentration in Athletic Training. While attaining his master's, Kevin worked as a Graduate Assistant Athletic Trainer with men's soccer, baseball, and the 2012 DII National Champion WCU Field Hockey team. Along with his GA duties, Kevin completed research on the effect of arch stiffness on tibial rotation and landing mechanics while completing his master's in 2014. In his spare time, Kevin enjoys traveling, playing hockey, hiking, exercising, and all other outdoor activities. Kevin is looking forward to the year ahead and is eager to broaden his knowledge with his current fellows and doctors of the Steadman Clinic.

Kristen Kunkel

Kristen was born and raised in Long Island, New York. She received her Bachelors of Science in Athletic Training from Marist College in Poughkeepsie, New York in 2012. While at Marist College, Kristen was given the opportunity to work with the Army West Point Military Academies soccer and football teams. She also assisted in medical coverage at the New York and Boston Marathons. After graduating from Marist College, Kristen was accepted into the Houghston Athletic Training Fellowship program in Columbus, Georgia. This fellowship provider her with a Masters of Arts and Teaching in health and physical education through Columbus State University. As a Houghston ATC fellow she also served as the head athletic trainer at G.W. Carver high school. During her time in the Houghston Athletic Training fellowship, Kristen was able to work with the orthopedic surgeons/fellows and attend educational lectures and labs. Kristen is very excited to be here in Vail and cannot wait to explore the area and all the different opportunities it has to offer! Kristen cannot wait to start working and learning from all of those at The Steadman Clinic.

Michael Gabriner

Michael is originally from Lexington, Massachusetts. He earned his Bachelor of Science Degree in Athletic Training at the University of Vermont in 2012. He recently completed his Master's Degree of Science in Education with a concentration in Athletic Training at Old Dominion University. During his two years at ODU Michael provided athletic training services for a local high school, a professional hockey team and the ODU Men's Soccer team. Michael also conducted research on contributing factors to Star Excursion Balance Test performance in individuals with chronic ankle instability. He is excited to hike and ski and is looking forward to this great opportunity to broaden his clinical knowledge at the Steadman Clinic.
