Dr. Nathan Cafferky is a highly accomplished total joint surgeon specializing in adult hip and knee reconstruction. He established his practice in the Vail area in 2015 and officially joined The Steadman Clinic on October 16, 2023.

Dr. Cafferky's primary focus is providing exceptional care to patients with hip and knee conditions requiring replacement surgery. His commitment to delivering world-class care is evident in his use of cutting-edge total joint technology to ensure optimal outcomes for each patient. He is fellowship-trained in joints and adult reconstruction from the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus. His expertise covers a broad spectrum of ailments, encompassing hip and knee arthritis, ranging from osteoarthritis to rheumatoid arthritis and post-traumatic arthritis.

Growing up in a family of physicians, Dr. Cafferky discovered his calling early in life. He expressed, "My father and grandfathers were my exceptional role models. They instilled in me the value of prioritizing others' well-being, which I find to be the most rewarding aspect of my career. My patient-centered philosophy involves close collaboration with my patients to establish tailored care goals and expectations. Dr. Cafferky earned his medical degree at Loma Linda University School of Medicine in Southern California. Following medical school, he began his residency at the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center and subsequently completed it at Geisinger Medical Center in Pennsylvania. After his fellowship training in joints and adult reconstruction at the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus, he started practicing at Vail-Summit Orthopedics & Neurosurgery in 2015.

Reflecting on his extensive medical experience, he stated, "Throughout my years in medicine, I've had the privilege of caring for a diverse spectrum of patients across the United States.
