Athletic Training Program, Class of 2011-2012

Ashley Dee, MS, ATC

Ashley is originally from Plainwell, Michigan and earned her Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training from the University of Michigan in 2009. She went on to graduate with a Master of Science in Athletic Training from the University of Kentucky in 2011. During her time at UK she worked with women's volleyball. Ashley enjoys being outdoors and cannot wait to ride around Vail on her new road bike. She is looking forward to taking advantage of Vail's winter weather so she can learn how to snowboard.

Jonathan Lukas II, MS, ATC

Jonathan is a fourth generation Floridian who was born and raised in Oviedo, Florida. He received his Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training in 2009 from Florida State University. In 2008, he completed an NFL summer internship with the New York Jets garnering many unique experiences. Upon completion of his B.S. degree he pursued an athletic training graduate assistantship at Louisiana State University. During his tenure he had the pleasure of working with both football and gymnastics teams, all the while earning a Master of Science degree. He enjoys traveling, mountain biking, and the great outdoors. He looks forward to experiencing the Colorado seasons and all that Colorado has to offer.

Victoria Hart, MS, ATC

Born and raised in southern Virginia, Tori received her Bachelor's Degree in Athletic Training from James Madison University in 2007. To further her knowledge and experience, Tori pursued a Master's Degree in Exercise Science at the University of North Carolina-Greensboro. There she served as the Certified Athletic Trainer for the men's soccer and softball teams. She recently spent the last two years as the assistant athletic trainer for Randolph-Macon College in Ashland, Virginia. In her spare time Tori loves to be outdoors, scrapbook, run, and eat sushi. While she usually prefers the warmer climates, she is very eager to test her east coast snowboarding skills on the western slopes. Tori is looking forward to her time at the Steadman Clinic and experiencing all that Colorado has to offer.

Amanda Leyrer, MS, ATC

Amanda originates from the home of the Michigan State Spartans in East Lansing, MI. It was there that she completed her Bachelor's of Science in Athletic Training while holding a position of President for her Undergraduate Club, E-STIM. From there, Amanda ventured to the south to complete her Master's Degree in Sports Medicine at Georgia State University in Atlanta, GA. She completed her research study on the Effects of Birth Control on Joint Laxity Pre-disposing Female Collegiate Athletes to Non-Contact ACL Injuries, while at GSU. Amanda has experience a wide range of on field experience from Division 1AA athletics to US Women's Soccer National Team U-17 coverage. Amanda is looking forward to enjoying the great outdoors in the beautiful town of Vail, CO as well as continuing her education with the Steadman Clinic physicians and staff.

Tyler Cram, MA, ATC

Originally from southern New Jersey, Tyler graduated from Boston University with a B.S. in Athletic Training in 2009. Following his time in New England, he traveled south to Chapel Hill where he attended the University of North Carolina and earned his M.A. in Athletic Training. While at UNC he completed his research thesis on evaluating the relationship between hip neuromuscular control and ACL injury risk factors. During the summer of 2010, Tyler had the privilege to work in the NFL with the Philadelphia Eagles as a training camp and preseason athletic training intern. Tyler is excited about working with the Steadman Clinic and all the educational opportunities that it has to offer. He is also looking forward to running and biking in the Rocky Mountains and finally being able to experience what west coast snowboarding is all about.

Jennifer Wages, PhD, ATC

Jennifer was born and raised in Colorado. She earned her Bachelor's of Science in Kinesiology and Health Promotion with an emphasis in Athletic Training from the University of Wyoming in 2005. Jennifer then served as a graduate assistant athletic trainer at the University of Mississippi and completed her Masters Degree in Higher Education in 2007. She subsequently attended the University of Hawaii at Manoa and recently earned her PhD in Education with a specialization in Kinesiology in the spring of 2011. Jennifer is excited to be back in her home state and can be found on the slopes when she is not in the clinic or covering events.
