Living in the Vail Valley

The Steadman Clinic is located in the heart of Vail in Vail Health Hospital. Vail is approximately 1.5 hours outside of Denver, CO. Life in the Vail valley is full of outdoor activities in both the summer and the winter months. The clinic does not offer assistance for living arrangements; however the program director is a great source of information for potential living situations during Residency. Commonly the class of athletic trainers coordinates living with each other. Weather can be a challenge in the mountains, it is encouraged that reliable transportation for winter driving conditions be available. Many of the past residents have not had experience with winter sports and have come to love all the activities that are possible in the mountains. We work hard and play hard during the year of Residency!
